Leigette was born from a love of Italy — its beautiful towns, effortless style and the craftsmanship found in the small boutiques and streets I've discovered during my travels.

I wanted to create something different from simply buying another handbag.

The idea behind Leigette is to make the experience part of the product: a beautiful Italian-inspired handbag that you assemble yourself.

The Cortona is our first design — created to be simple to assemble, with no sewing or special skills required. Whether you make yours at home with a glass of prosecco, share the experience with friends, or create one together for a special occasion, the finished bag has something most handbags don't have:
